Combine Ticket Regulation (Borobudur Temple - Prambanan temple)
Starting from 2026, the Borobudur - Prambanan combination tickets will no longer be available. Additionally, student tickets and temple ground tickets for Borobudur have been discontinued. There is now a single ticket option, which is the temple structure ticket, priced at IDR 455,000 per person.

Drone Regulation
To ensure the privacy and comfort of all visitors as well as to prevent any potential disturbances or hazards, the operation and use of drones are strictly banned within and around the Borobudur and Prambanan temple sites. All visitors and drone operators are respectfully asked to adhere to this rule in order to maintain a respectful and secure atmosphere for everyone enjoying these cultural landmarks.

Dress code in Borobudur & Prambanan
When visiting Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, it is essential to dress modestly out of respect for their religious significance. Visitors should wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees, such as long pants or skirts and sleeved tops. If needed, sarongs are often provided at the entrance. Comfortable footwear is recommended for walking and climbing the temple steps. Additionally, a hat and sunglasses can help protect against the sun, while a light raincoat may be helpful during the rainy season
